Day 5
We had an early start so that we could pack our bags & strip our beds before heading down for breakfast. Croissants & pain au chocolat today! Yummy! After breakfast we headed for our final morning of activities - the Silver Maze Challenge. Each team had to complete challenges worth different points. Some were easier than others, some needed lots of brain power as well as teamwork...everyone gave it their best!!
Day 4 - Evening Our evening ended with an 'Explore' session around the campfire with children and staff from Keig Primary. Keig PS have shared the centre with us all week - a lovely group of children and staff. We all enjoyed homemade Rocky Road and juice for supper followed by various games of Hide & Seek and Sardines. The night finished with a super sing-a-long around the fire and watching the sunset.
Day 4
We all awoke to another beautiful day - what a fabulous week to have an outdoor activity week!!! Bacon rolls this morning before we headed off to activities: Raft Building, Sit-On-Kayaking, Jacob's Ladder, Adventure Course and a Forest Adventure .............
Day 3
A delicious start to the day - homemade pancakes with berries and syrup!! The sun was shining again for all our activities today including: a forest adventure, canoeing, archery, climbing wall, archery and sit-on-kayaking......
Day 2
Everyone was up in plenty of time and had a good breakfast ready for our activities today - our three groups had different activities to try including: Canoeing, Archery, Jacob's Ladder, Adventure Course, Aerial Runway, Crate Climbing and Raft Building. Great teamwork, encouragement, perseverance, successes and celebrations.......
Day 1
Stopped off at Grantown for snacks and some outdoor challenges. Arrived at Abernethy for lunch and orienteering in the afternoon, followed by swimming before dinner. Everyone is having a lovely time.
