Why does the school have the RSA?
We are a parent body called the Rothes School Association (RSA) who have been running for many years to help our school community at Rothes Primary.
The main aims of our RSA are
- to support the school by raising as much money as we can to enhance, enrich and improve learning experiences for the children. We also provide those 'little extras' that make school memorable, such as music workshops, children’s discos, theatre company visits and festive fayres.
- To work with the school on events and help at organised school events such as sports day, school performances etc.
- To study and discuss matters of interest relating to the education and welfare of pupils.
- To bring the communities of school and home closer together because it makes sense for parents to be involved in the life of their chosen school.
The RSA is run by a committee who are all parents and carers of children at Rothes Primary School and we are supported by our headteacher Mrs Sargeant.
